Insight takes part in some Premiership abseiling for Cystic Fibrosis

Jenny and Aaron dared to take on the 140 foot abseil challenge at Old Trafford to raise £1,142 for Cystic Fibrosis.

Old Trafford has seen some of the world's greatest sportsmen step onto its ground and hosted numerous historical sporting events, but despite this was totally unprepared for Tweety Pie and Parrot Man…Jennifer Taylor and Aaron Edwards from Insight dressed as the comical characters to abseil 140ft from the roof of Manchester United's stadium onto the pitch. Diane Garrity had originally planned to abseil but was unfortunately unable to do so, and Aaron stepped in at the last minute.

The two raised £652 for children with Cystic Fibrosis in Manchester, and through the Premex sponsorship Match scheme they will donate, in total, £1,142 to the charity. A raffle at work helped raise this amount along with kind sponsorship from friends, family and colleagues including Insight's agents. 

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis, funding medical and scientific research to develop a cure and provide effective treatments; provide appropriate clinical care and inform advice and support anyone affected by Cystic Fibrosis.
